Kotoeia Role Segmentation Tool (KRST)

The KRST helps organisations move beyond grade-based or hierarchy-based assumptions about role importance. Using a three-dimension framework — Skills Value, Skills Uniqueness, and Kotoeia's proprietary Mandate Criticality overlay — the tool classifies roles into four strategic quadrants, generates differentiated investment recommendations and Employment Value Propositions, and produces a workforce risk score and Board-ready summary. It supports multi-rater assessment to surface scoring variance, and role trajectory plotting to capture directional change over time.

Engagement details
Record the client organisation, sector, and assessment team. These details appear on all outputs.
Add roles to assess
Enter each role individually. Include the grade or level where available — this appears on outputs but does not affect scoring. Up to 24 roles per session.
Assessment team (raters)
Add up to 4 raters. When multiple raters score the same role, the tool surfaces variance for facilitated discussion — disagreement between raters is a diagnostic signal, not a problem. A single rater is sufficient for individual consulting use.
